Korn officially KORNY

I really didn't like Framing Hanley remake of Lil' Wayne's "Lollipop", but I accepted it as an upstart band getting some air-play. Hearing "shorty want a thug" via some white rock singer is just painful. I figured no big deal, but yesterday I heard "Got Money" Korn style, needless to say it was fucking awful.

Editor's NOTE: By Korn I mean Jonathon Davis, apparently he fucked this up all on his own.

Jonathon Davis- What the fuck were you thinking? Little known fact that "Chutes and Ladders" as well as "Freak on a Leash" were remakes, but "Got Money"? How does Lil' Wayne allow such retardations of his work? I said retardations, not retarded, so get off my back people who find it offensive. Korn was once the best rock band. Blending crazy pounding bass lines with Jonathon Davis' haunting voice. This was ruined completely after hearing "JD on them hoes". Yes, JD means Jonathon Davis, HE COMPLETELY SOLD THE FUCK OUT.

Korn's just done in my opinion. I've listened from afar as Korn has spiraled downhill. Evolution was a decent single because the chorus, as usually with Korn songs, was really catchy. "Got Money" even has a good chorus, great bass and rhythm, but Jonathon Davis just skull fucks it as soon as he uses the SAME VERSUS Lil' Wayne does. What the fuck was he thinking? Would you like Lil' Wayne to start screaming "I can see I'm going Blind"?

It's just a brutal rape of a good song. Crossover songs can be fun and even good, but you can't use the exact same lyrics in a similar form. You look like a no talent fuck-clown trying to rap, or talking regularly with a slight growl. This coupled with ANOTHER Korn member (Fieldy), writing an autobiography about his addiction and finding faith/redemption. Wow, that's eerily familiar to what Brian "Head" Welch did 3 years ago. They can't even get the touching story of finding Christ and redemption right. Supposedly there's a 9th album in the works (Yeah I couldn't name the last 4 either) and I really care even less than I had before finding out they were making another album.

Who the fuck approves these things?
