The fighting Bucky's made it in, barely, and thus begins another year of blind, all-consuming, March Madness. I sadly don't get enough days off of work to blow off Thursday or Friday, but I am ridiculously envious of those who can.
I can't even watch the NCAA.com at work, I'm almost certain that it's blocked. I'll just have to keep ESPN.com up and running and get constant updates, which is like watching a film with no words. I envy those of you that can watch the games, or at least enjoy them online at work. This is the Christmas for basketball fans. It is the ultimate few days which from 11am-11pm there's basketball on that's of decent quality. You're guaranteed some great endings and Cinderella action. Inspirational moments, heartbreak, some random guy playing himself into a lottery pick.
Anybody who didn't see South Park on Wednesday or Thursday should definitely see if hulu.com carries it, or grab it from southparkzone.com or allsp.com. They shed a deflowering light on Disney and how they shamelessly throw sexuality and children behind the masks of the Jonas Brothers and their chastity rings. Watching Mickey Mouse laugh in his childish "HA HA HAAA" while kicking the shit out of a Jonas Brother was certainly a highlight of last week.
For the record I'm going with UNC as National Champs. I think they have an all-around very deep and athletic team. Lawson should be well rested and they will be healthier than they were for the ACC Tournament. With Lawson in the line-up they are a very tough out and they've been having their eyes on the prize all year. Hansborough didn't come back to not end his college career right. If necessary he will carry the other Heels to the Championship. I'm a complete Homer, but I'm sticking to it.
GO DUKE!!!
