I was lamenting about the raping that has been my fantasy football season so far, but the facts are in and its even more frustrating than before. I'm the 2nd highest scorer in one league, but have had 94 points scored on me more than ANYONE ELSE. Combine that with the horrific truth that I haven't started the correct lineup EVER and I'm really pissed off. Would Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald care to stop playing like they have one leg a piece? I'd also appreciate SOMEBODY calmly mentioning that Willis McGahee will be scoring all the TD's for the Ravens so I can go back in time and draft him instead of Ray Rice.
Also would anyone remind the Panthers that scoring TD's is what an offense is supposed to do? Owning Deangelo Williams and Steve Smith in one league hasn't been a real sound combination so far. I also swung and missed in having 1/2 of my teams have a bye week on week 4. I just picked up Celek to supplant Tony Gonzalez only to find out he has a bye week this week TOO!!!! FML. I had to pick up Mercedes Lewis now, and that is just not going to produce for me. Thank God I'm only donating 20 and 25 bucks respectively to leagues comprised of mainly my friends, but FUCK I have decent teams and get no love from the fantasy Gods.
The latest kick to my already swollen fantasy balls was Frank Gore being useless last week and hurt for 3 or so more weeks. I'm strong at RB, but would probably like to have the guy coming off of 217 yards and 2 TD's in 3 quarters in my starting lineup.
The Brewers should start figuring out which veterans they are going to send the way of Old Yeller and get the youth movement in full swing. My Ginger friend mentioned we could feasibly sign John Lackey if we get rid of Cameron and Kendall. We could dominate free agency by somehow getting rid of Jeff Suppan to ANYONE. I'd be a fan of signing Sheets to some kind of deal for a year or two to see if he can be something similar to his former self for awhile at a discounted rate.
I have to start writing down on paper when I get pissed off so I can have decent blogs rather than crying about fantasy football failures.
