I can't watch Tim Jarmusz play division I basketball anymore. He has to be the worst player at a major college program who receives playing time. He's slow, which effects his defense especially. He isn't a good shooter, which is a big deal if you're a slow 6' 2" white dude. I watched him turn the ball over on a telegraphed pass into the low post and I just could not deal with it anymore. It's mind-boggling that there isn't ANYONE better that could play. It's terrifying thinking about next year if nobody can uproot Jarmusz. I can name people that I work with that would be better RIGHT NOW than Jarmusz. I didn't even bother to check to see if I'm spelling his name right because he deserves nothing better than minimal effort. He'd be an acceptable high school player, but the fact that he has a scholarship is a complete punch in the face to people who are actually deserving. Whenever I see him on the court I look for something to throw.
Shockingly Bo Ryan has not been coach of the year in the Big Ten since 2003. That surprises me since every year the Badgers finish higher than projections dictate. He takes a team that on paper would lose to UW-Milwaukee and puts them into the Big Ten Championship hunt and the NCAA tournament. Nobody could be more underrated as he is constantly showered praises by the ESPN analysts who have to wonder how year after year he puts out competitive teams with his utter lack of talent. He also has a FEROCIOUS scowl that is second to no man.
